The University of Wyoming volleyball team lost two matches during the last day of the Rumble in the Rockies tournament late Saturday. Wyoming lost 3-1 (25-23, 27-29, 25-21, 25-23) to Abilene Christian before a five-set (18-23, 25-20, 23-25, 29-27, 15-9) loss to Portland.
Tara Traphagan had a career-high 20 kills in the first match while junior Emily Lewis tallied ten to go along with her four service aces. Jackie McBride and Reed Copeland both added seven kills.
Marissa Harmon continued her offensive output with 40 assists on Saturday after dishing out 38 on Friday night.
The Cowgirls return to the UniWyo Sports Complex for the UniWyo Invite starting on September 1.
