LARAMIE — The Wyoming Cowgirls completed a 2-0 week by holding on for a 1-0 win against Colorado Mesa at the Madrid Sports Complex on Sunday.
The win was the second 1-0 victory of the week for the Cowgirls, who edged Idaho State on the road thanks to a 66th minute Alyssa Glover goal Thursday night.
Sunday, Glover set up fellow forward Kiley Ballek in the 68th minute for Ballek’s third goal of the season. UW goalkeeper Haley Bartel recorded her fifth clean sheet of the season with just one save required on the afternoon to improve Wyoming’s record to 5-1-1 on the season.
