Everything Bryce Meredith was looking for awaited 50 miles from home.
It just took the Cheyenne native a year at North Carolina State to recognize the what the University of Wyoming had to offer.
“It’s crazy,” said Meredith, a sophomore 141-pound wrestler at UW. “I was not appreciative of Wyoming. I did not think I needed my family and friends as much as I do, but they matter. They help your success. They help everything.”
From 2011-14, Meredith claimed state titles at 103, 113, 132 and 138 pounds, respectively, while at Cheyenne Central, becoming the 16th wrestler in history to win four straight championships.
