Wrong beer sales data is a brutal reminder to Wisconsin fans about identity lost

Yesterday, Matt Brown posted about college football beer sales. Wisconsin typically is the top school by a country mile, and yesterday that fact was confirmed again. Yet, today he posted that he had the wrong data about Wisconsin, and they aren't first, they are actually eighth. This confirms a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that has alcohol sales at Camp Randall down 19 percent.

Yet, to Wisconsin fans, it's another reminder of a loss of culture, a loss of identity. Fans are coming to the games and thus not buying beer, and many who do come are leaving midway through.
