Wisconsin volleyball is off to a hard start this season, with only one loss on its record and a bunch of dominant wins. The latest came against a three-set sweep of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Now, as the weekend comes to a close, Wisconsin is leading the nation in maybe the two most important stats: assists and kills per set.
The Badgers have a 13.85 assists per set average, which is ahead of Duquesne at 13.81 and Kentucky at 13.80 to round out the top three. This is elite-level assists and a huge credit to star setter Charlie Fuerbringer, who is leading the way with 11.
