Another defensive piece for the Wisconsin Badgers will return to the court this fall. Defensive specialist Giorgia Civita announced today that she will be back for another year for head coach Kelly Sheffield.
The graduate transfer from Wichita State took some time to warm up and get in the groove in Wisconsin’s rotation — partly because she was still healing from her third ACL tear to the same knee.
But as the season wore on, Civita became a key cog in UW’s back row and a good presence from the service line.
