After falling to No. 1 Oklahoma 4-0 Saturday afternoon, Wisconsin found itself in a similar situation in an elimination game Saturday night against Notre Dame. Heading into the bottom of the seventh, the Badgers stared down the end of its season trailing 4-0.
However, UW’s offense woke up just in time in their last half inning of action. The Badgers rallied for five runs to stun the Irish 5-4, capped by a three run walk-off by senior Stephanie Lombardo.
The bottom of the seventh began with a walk by freshman and Oklahoma native Jolie Fish.
