It’s been a rough set of matches across the last few days of Badgers soccer, as the Curse of the Joint Recap struck again with both the men’s and women’s teams dropping their matchups.
The men we’re defeated 1-0 by Maryland on Sunday, an uninspired game that was far from a treat to watch. The lone goal came midway through the second half when Terrapin freshman Jacen Russell-Rowe found the back of the net with a tremendous strike from just outside the box. The Badgers, who only managed two shots on the game, struggled to find life outside of a few rare chances.
