Vito Calvaruso kicked his first career field goal and five extra points Saturday inside Camp Randall Stadium, but the Arkansas transfer especially took note of the atmosphere. He pointed to the student section singing songs in particular.
“I thought that was insane,” Calvaruso said. “The ‘Jump Around’ obviously. They were just into the game the whole time. For it to be a blowout like it was, if you told me that wasn't a 38-0 game, then I wouldn't expect it.”
Reporters did not see Calvaruso kick during the University of Wisconsin football team's four open practices in August.
