It was a cruel start to the 2016 college football season for Chris Orr. The Wisconsin Badgers were hosting SEC power LSU Tigers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. But on the first snap from scrimmage of the 2016 season Orr went down with a torn ACL ending his season.
But he received a “medical hardship” waiver this week meaning the Desoto, Texas native now is technically a sophomore in terms of his Badger Football eligibility. While ILB is not a position of need, Orr’s return in 2017 and beyond just adds more talent to a deep pool.
