The class of 2019 is already off to an unprecedented start for the Wisconsin Badgers, and this past weekend, a few commits and some recruits flocked to Madison for the program’s Junior Day.
Among them were four-star quarterback commit Graham Mertz. The Kansas native, who has become a nationally-recognized prep standout, tweeted a picture of himself and Wisconsin quarterbacks coach Jon Budmayr with a picture of Paul Bunyan’s Axe on Friday.
According to 247Sports’ Evan Flood ($), Mertz stayed in Madison for four days, something that should assuage any concerns Wisconsin fans hold about the strength of his commitment.
