The idea is to tell the players they are signing stuff for giveaways and hide something from a rival in the mix. In this case, it was hats. Former Wisconsin star Braelon Allen received a Minnesota hat and immediately found a way to slam the Golden Gophers in an epic way.
Most of the players either walked away or said, "throw that in the trash," or even refused to sign the first New York Jets hat.
