Incoming freshman and international star for the Lithuania FIBA U20 team, Aleksas Bieliauskas, has finished his impressive run through the U20 tournament. He started the first game with a double-double and ended in the championship finale with a double-double. His performance in each game was often that of the best player on this team. He continues to show that he may be a bit more ready than anyone thought.
Lithuania came up short in the final, losing to Italy 83-66, but it may have been Bieliauskas' best game. They needed him to be big to get through Italy, who was the favorite going into the game, and he did his job, but it still wasn't enough.
