Last week, Wisconsin had a bit of a slow start against the New Mexico Lobos. They gave up a touchdown on the Lobo’s opening drive where they did pretty much whatever they wanted against the Badger defense. At the half, Wisconsin held on to just a 10-7 lead. Eventually, the Wisconsin offensive line wore the Lobos down, helping Jonathon Taylor to a career game.
Although it was an impressive win, the voters for the AP Top 25 poll still found a way to bump the Badgers down a spot in the poll for the second consecutive week to number six.
