Kenosha, Wis. (Bradford) offensive lineman Andrew Lyons verbally committed to the Wisconsin Badgers on Wednesday night.
Kenosha Bradford’s football Twitter account appears to have first announced the news, with both BadgerBlitz.com’s Jon McNamara and WisSports.net’s Travis Wilson noting it as well.
Lyons, rated a two-star recruit by 247Sports, confirmed with B5Q that he committed to Wisconsin on Wednesday night. Back in May, the in-state lineman received an offer from FCS program Western Illinois.
Earlier on Wednesday, WisSports.net announced Lyons earned a nomination as a finalist for the Joe Thomas Award.
