The 2023-24 high school basketball season is coming to a close, and as state tournaments begin, one of the Wisconsin Badgers basketball program’s 2024 signees will have plenty of eyes on him.
Daniel Freitag was named a semi-finalist for the Minnesota Mr. Basketball Award three weeks ago, landing in the top 10 alongside fellow Badgers signee Jack Robison. The Mr. Basketball of Minnesota Committee trimmed down their list of finalists to five, and Freitag remained in the running for the prestigious award.
