Greg Gard and the Wisconsin Badgers basketball coaching staff has checked in on another big man who entered the transfer portal.
Luke Chaney reported that Wisconsin basketball has reached out to Notre Dame transfer forward Carey Booth — who will have three years of eligibility remaining at his next stop. Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas, Illinois, Florida, Stanford, and many others are also involved.
Booth played just one season under Micah Shrewsberry and averaged 6.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game in 19 minutes per game for the Fighting Irish.
