Although few casual observers are tuning into college football in November to begin with, there are even fewer excited to see a game in which more than 50 personal fouls are assessed in just 40 minutes of play. Wisconsin basketball got a win inside the Kohl Center on Friday night, despite a whistle that would not quit, giving head coach Greg Gard a holistic look at his roster.
Gard said that in the early non-conference schedule, he wants to “develop different combinations” that he can use “and see who works well together.” In a 97-72 win against the Northern Illinois University Huskies, he got to do just that.
