Greg Gard and the Wisconsin basketball program welcomed a rising stretch forward in the 2025 recruiting class to the Kohl Center for their matchup against Rutgers.
Jonah Funk, a 6-foot-10, 185-pound forward from El Paso, Illinois, took in Madison for the first time after receiving an invite from assistant coach Dean Oliver to take an unofficial visit the night before.
“The visit was just how I’d want it to be,” Funk told Badgernotes. “I got to see how great the staff was, how great the team was, and how great the environment was.
