Another impressive week for the redshirt freshman leads to a weekly conference honor
After a week of consecutive double-digit scoring performances -- which included the game-winning lay-up against then-No. 4 Michigan State on Sunday -- Wisconsin Badgers forward Ethan Happ earned Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week honors on Monday.
Happ averaged 13 points and seven rebounds against the Spartans (14 points, eight rebounds) and Northwestern Wildcats (12 points, six rebounds). The 6'9, 235-pound redshirt freshman's layup with 10 seconds left lifted the Badgers to a 77-76 win over Michigan State at the Kohl Center.
