Two new guards will be a part of the 2017-18 Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball squad.
Sophomore transfer Trevor Anderson and freshman Walt McGrory will officially join the Wisconsin program as walk-ons, head coach Greg Gard announced via press release on Wednesday.
Anderson announced on May 3 his intention to transfer to Wisconsin from UW-Green Bay, where started the first 20 games of the 2016-17 season—averaging 9.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.7 assists per contest before a back injury shelved the rest of his freshman campaign.
