Both the Wisconsin Badgers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers are coming off of disappointing Big Ten opening week losses from a week ago. And both teams are looking to bounce back in a big way as they collide at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE, Saturday afternoon.
The Badgers had a chance to solidify their dominance in the Big Ten West when they hosted the Iowa Hawkeyes a week ago. Instead, Wisconsin’s offense looked sloppy and Iowa was able to steal a 10-6 victory. Joel Stave had a game to forget, throwing two interceptions and fumbling twice including a crucial play at the goal line in the fourth quarter when he tripped and tried to make a play by handing the ball off to Taiwan Deal.
