The University of Wisconsin football program still is perusing the recruiting trail for a class of 2023 quarterback, but a highly touted 2024 signal-caller from Texas gave the program high marks after a game day experience last weekend.
Mabrey Mettauer, a four-star quarterback according to Rivals and ESPN, traveled to Madison to take in a game day experience when the Badgers played Washington State.
“I thought it was super great,” Mettauer said. “Just going up to the north, watching some Big Ten football was super exciting, and then I got to see kind of what the atmosphere was like up there, which was super cool.
