The Wisconsin Badgers landed their coveted defensive lineman from the transfer portal on Friday when Stephen F. Austin transfer Brandon Lane committed to the program.
After a month’s search of looking through several intriguing candidates, the Badgers finally found the right match, flipping Lane from Louisville and signing the redshirt sophomore, making the move official.
It has been an eventful offseason for Lane, who initially committed to Michigan State after entering the transfer portal. Less than a week later, however, Lane elected to de-commit and ultimately landed on Louisville as his destination in mid-May.
