Where Wisconsin volleyball player Jade Demps will play next season

Demps, a versatile outside hitter for the University of Wisconsin volleyball team the past three seasons, announced Wednesday evening she is transferring to LSU. She will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Demps, a highly regarded recruit from Raleigh, North Carolina, spent much of her UW career as a key reserve, frequently providing a spark at either pin. She averaged 1.67 kills per set in 70 career matches, which included 10 starts. She had a career .282 hitting percentage.

In 2022 she averaged 1.16 kills, hitting .282, backing up Sarah Franklin and Julia Orzol on the left side and Devyn Robinson and Anna Smrek on the right side.
