The Badgers rallied to defeat Pittsburgh on Friday night in the first round of the NCAA East Regional despite the fact Hayes and Koening combined to make just 4 of 25 shots (16.0%).
Can seventh-seeded UW get past second-seeded Xavier (28-5) in the second round at 7:40 p.m. Sunday at the Scottrade Center if Hayes and Koenig continue to struggle?
"If you were going to tell me we were going to be 4 for 25 with those two guys," coach Greg Gard said of the victory over Pittsburgh, "I would have said we're on a flight home this morning.
