Madison — Corey Clement's gray undershirt was soaked with sweat.
Wisconsin's junior tailback wore the smile of a tired but grateful athlete as he greeted reporters Tuesday inside the McClain Center because he had taken his first hits in weeks and emerged from practice unscathed.
"Today I felt very good out there," said Clement, who is working to come back from a sports hernia. "I felt a lot better than last week. I think last week was kind of a steppingstone, just getting back on my feet.
"I can only progress each day at a time.
