UW sports: Women's soccer team shuts out Purdue

McKenna Meuer’s team-leading fifth goal of the season was all the University of Wisconsin women's soccer team needed in a 1-0 shutout of Big Ten Conference rival Purdue on Sunday at McClimon Field.

Meuer scored in the 32nd minute and the Badgers (5-4-3, 2-1-1 Big Ten) blanked the Boilermakers (6-5-0, 1-3-0) as goalkeeper Caitlyn Clem made five saves en route to her third straight shutout.
