UW offensive line in place, closes spring with high expectations

Madison — Joe Rudolph, preparing for his second season as Wisconsin's offensive coordinator/line coach, understands expectations are lofty for 2016.

UW must replace just one starter on the line — left tackle Tyler Marz — and should return four players who started at least seven games last season and a fifth, right tackle Jacob Maxwell, who started three games. All were redshirt freshmen last season.

Even with center Dan Voltz out this spring while recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, UW's No. 1 line looked solid and generally performed well through the 15 sessions.
