Madison – Paul Chryst's first season as Wisconsin's head coach is rapidly nearing its conclusion, with just a bowl game to go.
UW (9-3, 6-2 Big Ten), which crept back into the national rankings at No. 25 on Sunday after closing the regular season with a 10-point victory over Minnesota, appears headed to the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 30 in San Diego to face a team from the Pacific-12 Conference.
Bowl bids will start to come out after this weekend's conference championship games.
"This group, they appreciate what they've all done to earn a right to play another game," Chryst said after the 31-21 victory over Minnesota, UW's 12th in a row in the series.
