It's almost unbelievable the bad luck the Wisconsin football team has had in recent years at quarterback. Thursday night was supposed to be a fresh start, but now everyone is holding their breath after Billy Edwards Jr. went down with a non-contact injury.
This looked like a simple handoff, but Edwards planted his foot awkwardly and moments later he fell to the turf. He tried getting up, but he was clearly in a ton of pain. When this happened, you could have heard a pin drop in Madison.
Edwards, thankfully, was able to walk off the field under his own power and he made his way back to the locker room.
