One of the unheralded members of the Wisconsin Badgers football staff over the past few seasons, at least for people who don’t follow recruiting religiously, has been QB coach Jon Budmayr. He has been integral in identifying under-the-radar quarterback prospects early (Graham Mertz, Deacon Hill) that have blossomed into 4-star talents.
According to a report from FootballScoop.com Colorado State Rams head coach Steve Addazio has tapped Budmayr as his new offensive coordinator in Fort Collins.
The Rams just lost their previous offensive coordinator, Joey Lynch, to the new staff at Vanderbilt so Addazio had been on the prowl for a new play-caller.
