Former Wisconsin football head coach Paul Chryst has been a popular name in the coaching carousel since the offseason began.
Chryst interviewed for a handful of head coaching jobs, including Northwestern (which he turned down), Indiana, and Oregon State, but those never went anywhere.
Chryst was also linked to the Boston College head coaching job, which opened after former HC Jeff Hafley took on the Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator role. Boston College completed two rounds of in-person interviews with multiple candidates this past week, Chryst being one of them, but the Eagles elected to go in a different direction.
