Wisconsin Badgers fans, at least for now, will not be seeing Bronson Koenig in Milwaukee or the Fox Valley area.
The Milwaukee Bucks, after signing Koenig to a two-way contract on July 6, requested waivers on Wisconsin’s all-time three-point field goal leader on Thursday afternoon.
Koenig, a La Crosse, Wis., native who played in 148 career games as a Badger with 94 starts, saw action on the Bucks’ NBA Summer League roster in Las Vegas in early July.
