In all 25 seasons of Mike Hastings’ coaching career, he has never had a losing record. Now in his first year at the University of Wisconsin, the Hastings effect is already in full swing for the men’s hockey team. His red-hot new regimen has now swept both number No. 1 ranked University of Minnesota and No. 4 ranked University of Michigan.
In recent interviews, Hastings has been firm about the buzz surrounding the squad this year. “Well, my daughter is excited about watching us play so that’s a step,” Hastings said in a press conference.
