2025 three-star safety Marcus Wimberly, hailing from Bauxite, Arkansas, has been on the Wisconsin football program’s recruiting radar for several months.
Despite a coaching change that led to bringing Alex Grinch from USC aboard, Wimberly continued to see strong interest from the Badgers, which, after a conversation, eventually materialized in a scholarship offer.
