Go to any major Madison event and Bucky Badger is likely to be there.
Starting next spring, the image of University of Wisconsin's mascot will be almost impossible to miss around town.
The Madison Area Sports Commission announced "Bucky on Parade," a public art project that will feature more than 100 life-sized Bucky Badger statues decorated by local and regional artists. The statues will be on display throughout Madison and on UW's campus beginning in May 2018 and running through the summer.
“This unique experience will showcase the playful personality of Bucky Badger
and highlight the creativity of our community," said Deb Archer, President and CEO of the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau.
