John Tonje has played one game for the Utah Jazz summer league team. He's sat chiefly out due to what's listed as a right ankle sprain. He finally got to play on Monday night, and he had a breakout performance with 16 points, three assists, three rebounds, and went 4-7 from three-point range. He was then listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Washington Wizards and was downgraded to out hours before tip-off.
The other player held out from the game was Kyle Filipowski, who scored a team-high 35 points alongside Tonje's breakout performance. Filipowski joined Ace Bailey in the fake injury report.
