George Rushing closes spring ball on a high note

Madison — Wide receiver George Rushing, still wearing his Wisconsin uniform, walked toward the interview room Saturday when offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph pulled him aside to deliver a quick pep talk.

Rudolph's message, according to Rushing:

"He was telling me that what I did today was just the tip of the iceberg," Rushing said after catching touchdown passes of 46 and 43 yards during the scrimmage portion of UW's final practice of the spring.

"And telling me that paying attention to the little things, like I have this spring, and trying to evolve my game has really helped me.
