Two weeks. That’s how long former Wisconsin football assistant coach Greg Scruggs lasted as the new defensive line coach at Michigan after leaving the Badgers this offseason for greener pastures.
Adam Rittenberg of ESPN reported that Scruggs has resigned from his position at Michigan following a recent arrest for operating a vehicle while intoxicated — an incident that led to an indefinite suspension.
“I just received notice that Greg Scruggs has resigned his position, effective immediately,” Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore said in a statement. “I am unable to comment further as this is a University matter.
