After playing just 34 snaps for the Badgers, quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. unsurprisingly entered the transfer portal. He was supposed to provide stability to the position for Wisconsin, but an injury kept him out for nearly the entire season. Now, he's headed to the east coast where he may find even more drama.
On3 has reported that Edwards Jr. has committed to Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels, where he'll compete for the starting job with incumbent starter Gio Lopez.
While Edwards' time in Wisconsin certainly wasn't without oddities, he may find an even more unusual situation at North Carolina.
