Former Badger Keontez Lewis, who is making a name for himself on the Oklahoma Sooners, left the game due to a head injury on Saturday against Temple. He never returned, and he's being evaluated for a concussion. Initially, head coach Brent Venables said this about Lewis, "Hopefully, he’ll recover quickly. Looking at the replay, hard to tell what it was. But he got his bell rung, for sure.”
The status of Lewis hasn't been updated for the coming week, and there are indications he may be in concussion protocol. It will be something to watch for the early receiving star for the Sooners and the former Badger.
