Big news this weekend for Wisconsin basketball recruiting, as in-state sensation Jalen Johnson announced his top four schools on Saturday night.
Johnson, the five-star prospect by 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals, named head coach Greg Gard and his Badgers program along with Kentucky, Duke and Arizona in his final group of schools contending for his collegiate services. All of the recruiting services rate him as the No. 3 player overall and No. 1 small forward in the country.
Last high school season, Johnson helped lead Nicolet to a WIAA Division 2 state title with a 20-point, 20-rebound performance against Milwaukee Washington in that championship game.
