Expectations are high for revamped unit

Madison — Joe Rudolph has heard the chatter for months: Wisconsin's offensive line, which suffered through injuries, instability and inexperience last season, should return to form in 2016.

With so many young players gaining valuable experience last fall, as well as the addition of left tackle Ryan Ramczyk, who sat out last season after transferring from UW-Stevens Point, the line should be among the best in the Big Ten.

Rudolph, entering his second season as UW's offensive coordinator/line coach, has slammed on the brakes.

"You've got guys who are returning that have played," he acknowledged.
