Steve Chamberlain and Jordan Kuczynski each had four of the Warhawks’ 18 hits as UW-Whitewater blasted Augustana (Ill.) 15-3 in a Central regional game of the NCAA Division III college baseball tournament on Thursday in Sauget, Illinois.
Lake Bachar allowed two runs in six innings for the win over the Vikings (30-14). Whitewater blew the game open with a seven-run fifth inning.
The victory pulled coach John Vodenlich within three wins of 500 for his career — 29 at Edgewood College and 468 coming at Whitewater.
