Madison — Bronson Koenig was frustrated.
Wisconsin had scored an important overtime victory over then-No. 19 Indiana, but Koenig had struggled against guard Yogi Ferrell. The UW junior guard made just 1 of 9 field-goal attempts, including 1 of 4 three-pointers, and finished with four points, three turnovers and no assists in 39 minutes.
He knew that type of performance wouldn't be good enough for UW to sustain success.
"If I don't go 1 for 9 and I start playing like myself again," he said a few days after the victory, "it makes me wonder how good we can be.
