BREAKING: Badgers land their 5th commitment from 1st weekend of official visits

The Wisconsin Badgers have secured a commitment from 2026 three-star tight end Jack Janda, he announced on Wednesday.

Janda, a native of Michigan, is the second tight end and fifth overall recruit to commit to the Badgers this weekend, rounding out tight ends coach Nate Letton’s position group for the 2026 class.

The three-star was expected to visit Stanford, Illinois, and Michigan State. Instead, he’s now committed to the Badgers after his first official visit, giving Wisconsin a bigger-bodied tight end at 6’6, 245 pounds.

Janda was a frequent visitor to Madison, most recently being on campus for a spring visit in April, and is a good complement to fellow 2026 tight end commit Jack Sievers.
