For the Wisconsin Badgers, it’s the start of summer workouts as they begin preparation for the 2025-26 season, introducing quite a few new faces into the fold.
However, one of those players hasn’t been with the team yet, as 2025 three-star guard Hayden Jones is currently competing for New Zealand at the FIBA U19 World Cup.
With a chance to advance to the FIBA Final Four on Friday, Jones and New Zealand pushed past Switzerland 84-70 to earn a matchup with Team USA.
Jones was the star of the show on Friday, scoring a team-high 23 points on 9/17 shooting, while nabbing nine boards, dishing out five assists, and posting four blocks in the win.
