There was a lot of attention on the 2020 recruiting class this past weekend, but the 2021 class improved as the Badgers landed Verona (Wis.) running back Jackson Acker on Sunday evening. The Verona Area standout attended Wisconsin’s camp and committed just hours after receiving his scholarship offer from the Wisconsin coaching staff, according to 247 Sports.
Acker is the second hard commit for the class of 2021. He joins Grafton, Wis. offensive linemen JP Benzschawel, currently listed as the #2 player in Wisconsin, who committed to the Badgers in early February.
