Wisconsin athletic director Chris McIntosh released a statement boldly declaring a bigger investment in football going forward. That statement was meant to inspire confidence that money was going to help fix the mess of the woeful Badgers. However, it seems to have brought forth scorn from the fanbase and didn't even inspire recruits.
The next day, a 3-star Wisconsin linebacker commit, Jack Janda, decided to visit Iowa and Michigan State. This officially puts him on a flip watch. Either this recruit is playing chess by seeing if that investment is going towards him, or he doesn't believe it's true, or it's simply a recruit noticing the state of the program and looking around.
